Biography |
I was born in Provo, Utah on October the 15th 1980. At the time, my father was studying at the University of Brigham Young to receive his Master's degree in Immunology. About a year later we moved to Frankfurt, Germany so that my dad could continue his studies. After my father graduated he got a job and moved us all to Westerville, Ohio; a suburb about a half hour north of the capitol city of Columbus. For fifteen years we lived in that city, were I received my public education.
I have one older sister, Heidi, who now lives with her husband and four boys and one girl in Seattle, Washington where her husband works a general contractor. My older brother, Mike, is currently in basic training in Georgia to become a computer systems technician in the army. His wife and two children live in Utah while he is in training. My younger brother, Scott, is currently in Germany serving a mission for our church. My youngest brother, Nathan, is a junior in high school. In February of 1997 my grandmother on my father's side passed away due to cancer. About a month later my grandmother on my mother’s side also passed away. My parents decided that we needed to move out west, closer to family so that we would be able to know them better. My dad got a job in the library of the University of Brigham Young – Idaho, then Rick’s College, in Rexburg, Idaho. I finished my last two years of public education at the local high school. After high school I myself served a mission for my church in Peru. I was there from the year 2000 to 2002. There I learned the beautiful language of Spanish as well as a great appreciation for the Hispanic people. After coming home I dated and then married my high school sweetheart, Shannon. Since then I have been studying at the University of Brigham Young – Idaho to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education with minors in Chemistry and Spanish Education. In that time we have also been blessed with two beautiful girls, Alyssa and Kaylie. |
